Life:

My aunt's cat Tater (who is for various reasons currently residing in our yard) has accepted me after two weeks of running away whenever I set eyes on her.  How do I know this?  Well of course because she crawled into my lap and drooled all over my jeans.  All I wanted to do was tie my shoes, cat.

My poor bank account.  Today I ordered some stuff from Daisycakes Soap and I pre-ordered the new Valencia album.  This is why it is good that I have a job.

But the three tracks I got instantly for pre-ordering are fantastic, so I'm not actually too fussed :]

This guy is fantastic.  Why can't all ministers be that cool.

In other news:

• I lived on my own all week at my grandfather and aunt's houses.  It was interesting, actually.  I certainly did more errands and experimental cooking than usual.
• Compounding the strangeness of this week, I have only been into the office once, for two hours, because it flooded ( Read more... )

So, er, what's new.  Well, we went to the Cloisters yesterday.  I sort of want to live there.  Big stone buildings = <333.  And unicorn tapestries!  And then Jes and I stayed in the city to pick up Megan and then we went to S'Mac (nom nom nom) and then they made me hurry to the train, which made my stomach unhappy but whatever.  And now I have $0.
